So I am 3 weeks into my 12 week program. It’s hard to judge exactly where I am. I have only lost about 2.5 kg over three weeks. Part of that is due to sustaining an injury and only working out last Monday. I was in the gym today and I set a new personal best on the treadmell. I hammered out a 5k in 36:32. This is about 3x slower than the world record. So there is a lot of room for improvement. But that really isn’t my goal. I think this weekend I will do a proper race with my house mate. I don’t think I can beat him, he’s was born in good shape. But I’m not gonna tell him that!
After my run today, I lifted my Body4Life routine. It is a strange pyramid formation and not that many exercises. But it takes me around 40 minutes to complete. Mostly because I’m slow after the run. Today I really pushed myself and could feel my muscles straining. I can feel myself getting stronger.
So overall I’m not super annoyed about the weight thing. I know I’ll push it down, it will just take the rest of these 9 weeks to ger there. My finaly goal is 80kg. If I can lock into that weight I will be super happy. Afterwards I am thinking of doing Px90 with the boys from Art of Charm. They have been talking about it recently and it is supposed to be killer and amazing. I have decided that I want to be a healthy in-shape kinda guy for the rest of my life.
It’s a hard place to get to. Changing my diet and attitudes is tough. I think I need another session with my NLP lady. To take my issues to the next level. In fact I just took a break from writing this email to email her and let her know how much she helped me. I will keep updating you guys on my progress etc.
Also, interesting fact. During my whole 90 minute workout I lost exactly .50kg according to my gym’s scale. How crazy is that? And I had a water bottle with me today.
