I have been so busy with my new fulltime job that I haven't had time to write more about Vegas.  I pretty much hit most of the highlights.  I have to say that the instructors there were pretty much a joke.  Somehow guys think that if they attend one workshop or bootcamp they can hang up a shingle and call themselves an instructor.

I think people should take this business more seriously.  There is really no oversite and I guess that is how there are so many charlatans out there.  Taking money from people when you're not qualified is not cool in my book.  I am always working my butt off when I'm with a student and I do everything I can to blow up his social life.

Most of the 'instructors' in Vegas spent their time hanging out and ignoring students.  I saw a lot of them try and steal girls from students.  That is really shocking.  Some of the guys were so shocked at the end of the week with the students' complaints. 

Students were going off on their own without instructors and getting laid.  Then instructors who did nothing all week would take credit.  I could go name by name with who sucked, but I think the big part is a total lack of direction from the leadership.  Johnny basically never came to the infield stuff and there was no plan.  So without leadership all the instructors bounced around. 

I will say that in my opinion Hypnotica, AFC Adam and Orleans were the only other guys there who should still be in this industry.  Orleans was the only instructor who actually got laid.  And his story is legendary.  He didn't really spend much time with the students.  But overall I know he kept asking Johnny what was expected.  So at least he showed them what was possible.

I really like Harlequin, but he spent the whole time going off and doing awesome things with his buddy.  After the first day students basically never saw him.  Which is a real shame because his game is really tight and he has a lot of knowledge.

Just all these instructors who were totally distracted or never around.

So last week I got a really long breakup email from my x in London.  I really thought I was clear that long distance stuff doesn't work for me, but obviously I wasn't.  So when she read my feelings on here, she got really hurt and broke up with me.  I wish I could say that I felt really bad when she dumped me.  But I kinda felt nothing.  It's hard for me to have deep long distance emotions.

For me love is a face to face kinda thing.  I mean I really did love her and I'm sad that she's hurt.  But I guess we weren't meant for each other.  I hope she fins what she's looking for.

As always I try to be super honest here about what I'm going through and what is happening.

Maybe my next relationship will work out better.  I've already met a few cool girls in this town and I'll write about that later.

Somehow a single facebook update has put me at the center of some major pickup industry drama.  But I have no regrets.  You live and learn and sometimes you gotta risk your career just to stand up for what you believe in.

Hey dudes. I didn’t put up an ad last month as I was so busy finishing my dissertation. I just finished it today, so I have a ton more time in my schedule to take on more students. I am offering a September Special. If you book two sessions, the price is only 200pounds. That’s right 8 hours for only 200 pounds. This is my lowest price in a year, but I want to spend a lot of time in field this month.

I will be spending a lot of time as a lead instructor on Project Rockstar, but I still want to make a lot of time for the everyone else.

I am just trying to get through my dissertation so that I can get back to living my life and posting for you guys.  I have to finish it in the next 7 days, so after that I will be back!

This party was awesome.  I will break it down into sections in a moment, but for me it was a dream come true.  I will right a separate account of my experiences and a field report as well.

The Bad

Let’s get this part out of the way first.  There was a real hassle getting into the festival.  They had a tiny entrance and about 5 tables of security, so searches were taking ages.  People started rioting so they just started letting people in faster and faster.  I actually never got searched.  They did have a police dog working the gate though.  Based on what I saw inside the festival, this was retarded.  The creepiest guys on earth were dealing at this festival.  At least in America the dealers look like the ravers.  Basically if you saw a black person there was a 95% chance they were dealing.  I only saw a few dudes there just having fun.  To be fair there were also really creepy Polish dealers too. I woke up in bed at noon Friday morning with 4 lesbians lying all over my bed.  Pretty cool.  I had the courtesy to try to sleep with each of them, but no dice.  It was a crazy night involving mixed gender winging, a ton of booze and gear, and some sweet rock band tunes.  My house mate really enjoyed us partying at 5 am when he had work on Friday.  I’m lucky that he tolerates my shocking behaviour.  I am gonna start hanging out with these girls more and more.  They love straight girls and I love gay ones, so it seems like a pretty sweet arrangement we are developing.

I went out Thursday night with gsand, 7/11 and another dude to what I was told was a playmate party.  False information.  The girl running it is in love with my lesbian sidekick and so she wants to get in with me big time.  The party was at Amika.  Posh as.  All the girls were about 14.  I got some free drinks in and I nearly banged a chubb from Arizona.  I stopped myself at the last minute. I would love to tell you about all the girls I pulle in Austria, but too many drugs, laziness and friends all got in the way.  It was a sick trip and I had a really good time.  I realized what an idiot I am when I found two pills in my pocket in Austria.  Next time I fly I should check that shit!   I guess I am pretty dumb.  I dunno what keeps me out of jail besides sweet, sweet luck.  The passport control lady freaked me out on my way back in.  I’m not gonna travel for a while now. Wanna grad from uni!!!

I have to say that Deadmau5 is pretty awesome live.  Really good show and one hell of a mouse helmet.  I happened to be wearing my Danger Mouse shirt, so it was twice as good for me.  I made friends with several really cool Austrian dudes, who smoked me out all weekend.  I look forward to returning the favor when they come to visit me this summer.

Also, gotta say I love my new tent and sleeping bag and I learned a lot about camping on a slope in the rain.  Next festival I will do better!!!

I am such a jerk. Yet again I have gone three weeks without posting. Or maybe it’s just two. But the problem has become that I am living way too fast. I have had no breaks in my life. So much is happening that I get cripplingly behind. And I apologize for that. I will give you some highlights and try to keep you bastards happy. I am dating two girls right now, although I have slept with neither and only kissed one. The relationships are great as I see each girl every 1-2 weeks.

Both of the girls are beautiful and amazing in different ways. I really enjoy spending time with them and with how crazy my life is, I don’t want or need to rush into anything. I am seeing one of them tonight and one of them friday. I will post more details soon. Both of them know what I do for a living.

I also went to Austria for five days to a big music festival. I was the only American there. I met some really cool people and that was the best part for sure. The music was good, but it wasn’t trance, my true first love. I saw Deadmau5, who is on my dj list for this year. He was awesome. He came out in a leather suit and giant mouse head. I will try and post some of my videos soon.

My diet is going good as I hit 18.5% body fat last nite.  I am pretty pumped about that.  Gotta go hit the gym for squats in a few minutes.  Not excited about that!

Book sales are going ok and I am very busy with students right now.  So overall my business is a good thing.  I just want to have a lot to write for you guys!!!

So I finally decided to upgrade my Twitter after nearly a year.  As usual I upgraded because I got jealous of my good friend Soul’s blog.  I helped set his up last year and I still think it’s one of the best looking ones out there.  Plus hes got such killer content.

I followed the procedure to the letter and upgrading should have taken about 40 minutes.  With all of the file deletes and transfers.  Something was wrong with the config.php file they told me to keep from my old version of wordpress.  I posted for advice on the forums and then I scoured the wordpress site and finally decided to put my database info into the new version of the php.

Not really sure why that made such a difference but it really fixed all my problems.  There are gonna be some more of these happening for a few hours here and there over the next week.  I am trying to do it all during the middle of the night.  My main issue right now is some html errors in the wordpress or template code.  I think this is why I am having issues with technorati.  I hope I don’t have to change templates….
