I have been thinking about this post for a while and I have finally gotten around to writing it. I had a really good chat with Kisser in LA for about 15 minutes and I really wish it had been longer. My dad came out with me to LA to hang out and see my talk. He talked to Kisser for 15 minutes as well.

Since then I have been doing a lot of thinking and assessing. Sometimes we learn a lot in a moment. I wanted to meet Kisser ever since I read a few posts of his back in June. I was really into a couple of the things he said and I wanted to see if he was the same in person.

The main thing about Kisser is that he is always excited to see you. No matter who you are. He makes you feel really good that you ran into him. This is something I noticed my friend do when I was younger and wanted to learn how to make friends. If you tell compliments and are congruent with them, then people will love you. Everyone’s favorite subject is themselves. Kisser is really nice and congruent with what he says.

The other thing we talked about was friendliness. It’s funny because me and Kisser are so different. He’s a really naturally positive and nice guy, while I really struggle with negativity and pessimism. But we both screen for friendliness. He doesn’t want a girl to bring him down or change him into a worse person. I don’t need people to activate the worst parts of my personality that are already there.

I think this is a really good thing to think on. What do you screen for? I know a lot of guy who love mean girls. But I just don’t want to be around that. I met a really nice girl saturday with a really mean friend. I ejected after 1 minute. If your friends are mean, then I don’t want you in my life.
